Strap Width ...

Straps can be made from 1.5" wide to 4" wide, unless strap design requires a specific width.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD WIDTH TO A STRAP FROM GROUPS 1 OR 2...
... then select "Add half inch... one inch... one and one half inches to width... " from the top of the ITEM 1B Selection List and leave the ITEM 1A Selection List "N/A". Example: You are ordering Strap 1A so you selected Simple Concho Guitar Strap 1A from the Guitar Straps Group One selection list (2nd selection list at top of this page.) The ITEM 1B drop-down list shows you that this strap comes 2.5" wide. If you wanted to order Strap 1A in the 2.5" width, you would select it again from the ITEM 1B selection list. If you wanted to order this strap (same design) in a 3" width, then instead of selecting it again in the ITEM 1B selection list, you would select "Add half inch to width + $6" from the ITEM 1B selection list.

NOTE: Do not add width to straps 1B, 1E, 1L, 2K and 2M as these straps require specific widths.

Strap Length ...

Enter measurement you would like the strap to be from button-hole center at one end of strap to button-hole center at the other end of strap, when strap is adjusted to best length.

IF GUITAR STRAP IS A GIFT ...
... and you do not know requested measurements, then complete all items and info that you can, and see ITEM 11.

ITEM 2 -- Strap length button-hole to button-hole -- enter inches: (put cursor in box and type)  

Strap Adjustment ...

Straps are made either as one-piece exact length straps, or with a buckle and short adjustment belt on the back (see picture) to adjust strap longer and shorter. If in doubt about adjustment range, choose 6" (NOTE-- the longer the adjustment piece, the shorter the main strap and design will be.) Example: If you request 48" for the length with a 6" adjustment range, the strap will adjust 45 to 51.

Strap Bottom ...

Top-stitching and synthetic sheep-skin padding is + $50 (see picture of sheep-skin padding on the Information page.)

Just top-stitching (without the sheep-skin padding) is + $25. This option is for black straps only-- do not make this selection if ordering a white strap, animal print or python snakeskin strap.

NOTE: The Spiked Guitar Strap 2U is not available with top-stitching or sheep-skin padding so choose "Suede leather bottom, no padded lining" if ordering the Spiked Guitar Strap.

Top-Stitching ...

Black, white, red, or silver stitching is available (see straps with white stitching and red stitching on this page, left and second to left pictures.) This option is for black straps only.

"Plain Black / White Leather Strap $60" should be selected in the first Selection List on this page.

Letters are approximately 3/4" in size and all caps. Lettering will read vertical unless otherwise requested (names straight up and down, initials staggered.) Lettering requires about 1" vertical space per letter. Painted lettering and designs are silver. Lettering goes on front of strap unless otherwise requested.

Painted lettering is + $60 and $10 per letter over six letters. If you want flairs around the lettering as seen on "JIMMY" strap in Group Three, then you would select Flairs design 3M from a Guitar Straps Group 3 slection list above. Painted letters come in six font choices as shown in Group 3.

If you are getting lettering then you should complete one or both parts of Items 8 or 9. If you are getting a small design from Group 3 then you do not need to enter measurements for the following Items. Designs will be positioned toward bottom front of strap unless otherwise requested.

SUGGESTION: With strap and guitar "on" (strap adjusted to desired length), use small pieces of masking tape to mark points on strap for requested measurements (use a mirror, and if you don't have a strap then get a cheap one to use for measurements.)

IF LETTERING OR DESIGNS ARE GOING ON FRONT OF STRAP ...
... then measure from front button-hole of guitar strap to point where strap starts to overlap front of shoulder, so I know how much vertical space there is to work with on the front of the strap.

NOTE: If you want lettering on back of strap to read horizontal instead of vertical, then let me know this in the Remarks Text Box at bottom of this page, in which case I will also need to confirm if you play right handed (that is, strum with right hand, left hand on neck of guitar) or left handed (strum with left hand, right hand on neck of guitar). If you play right-handed, then horizontal lettering on back of strap reads from the top (shoulder) down; if you play left-handed, then lettering needs to read from the bottom up (toward the shoulder), otherwise it will be upside-down.

... then let me know the following: 1) When do you need gift by? 2) Is gift a surprise? and 3) Can you get a measurement of a strap they currently use, button hole to button hole, at it's current adjustment?

IF YOU CANNOT GET A MEASUREMENT ...
... then let me know the following: 1) Tell me something about the person's height, weight, and frame. 2) Do they usually sit or stand when they play? and 3) If they stand when they play, do they hold guitar high, mid-level / waist level, or low, and do they move around a lot when they play? Also you could let me know what kind of music they play. Enter info in the Remarks Text Box at the bottom of this page. Also, unless you let me know otherwise I will assume that the gift recipient does not have access to your email and I won't be spoiling any surprises if I send an email to you with the subject line "guitar strap order" or words to that effect (if that's a problem, let me know.)

Shipping and Handling is $10 for U.S. orders and $15 for orders shipped outside the U.S.
